ABOUT ENERGĒ HEALTH

Care begins with listening.

Energē Health is a cash-pay telehealth practice for women located in Virginia who are seeking a clearer understanding of the hormonal, metabolic, thyroid, digestive, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to how they feel.

The work begins with your questions and continues until you understand your own results.

FOUNDER & CLINICIAN

ShaNeé Boisseau, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC

I founded Energē Health because I repeatedly met women who knew something had changed in their bodies and had not been given clear answers.

I was one of them. I was diagnosed with PCOS young, and I spent years knowing something was wrong without understanding why.

I spent fifteen years in trauma, and completed my nurse practitioner training in a surgical trauma intensive care unit at a Level 1 trauma center. That work is the opposite of this one in pace and identical in method. You are handed a large panel of results on a person whose situation is changing, and the task is to read them together rather than one value at a time, and to be right about which ones matter.

A complete metabolic and hormonal panel asks for the same thing on a longer timeline. Twenty-two markers that only mean something in relation to each other.

I came to this work through my own diagnosis, and I have spent the years since building the specific knowledge that women's hormonal and metabolic health requires. The reading of results is not new to me. The subject is what I went and learned.

My work is to look beyond isolated symptoms, to explain what I find in language you can use, and to make sure you leave understanding your own results.

What Guides This Work

Care built around three commitments.

We Listen.

Your story, concerns, and goals matter. We take the time to understand your experience before recommendations are made.

We Investigate.

We look beyond isolated symptoms and single laboratory results to consider how different factors may be connected.

We Partner.

You receive clear explanations, individualized recommendations, and guidance that evolves with your needs and progress.

Our Approach

Clarity before treatment.

Women often arrive with questions rather than diagnoses.

They may feel exhausted despite getting enough rest, notice that their weight or body composition has changed, struggle with disrupted sleep or brain fog, or continue to feel unwell even when routine laboratory results appear normal.

One symptom rarely has one cause, and one marker rarely means one thing. Ferritin reads differently depending on inflammation. Free testosterone reads differently depending on the protein carrying it. Fatigue reads differently depending on what sleep, iron, thyroid, and glucose are each doing. So I read your history, your symptoms, and your results against each other, and I keep asking until the picture is consistent.

You should leave understanding what may be happening, where to begin, and what the next step could look like.
